Our story

Kaitlyn, owner of KSG Calligraphy, began her early love of handwriting in her teens, doodling on notebooks in high school. This evolved into creating keepsakes for friends, then making fun “back to school” signs for her kids, then elaborating on her family Christmas cards. Her final push into turning this hobby into a business was after taking a Sip & Script class, and then taking to leap of faith of being an instructor. Friends and family cheered her on the entire way into building KSG Calligraphy.

The name KSG comes from a combination of owner, Kaitlyn, and her mothers name, Gina. The two held a special mother daughter bond that is rare and beautiful. Gina passed in March 2022, and calligraphy has helped Kaitlyn turn the winding road of grief into a beautiful outlet that we know Gina is proud of, with a front row seat to all of it.
